One of My Favorite Images

During winter while most trees have shed there leaves, the Cherry trees are in bloom in Northern California. Just up the street from where I live are the VTA tracks, and they are lined with Cherry trees. I captured this image of one of many Cherry trees, and I was lucky to have the VTA train in route. This image is sort of a metaphor for me that while my future is hazy, it will come into focus.
I hope this image has some meaning to you as well if only to be someones desktop background!

ISS and Space Shuttle Imaged from the Ground

I have recently found some outstanding images of the ISS and the Space Shuttle from a gentleman by the name of Ralf Vendenbergh. Using only a 10 inch (25 cm) newton style telescope and a digital camera, he was able to capture these stunning images. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do:
