This is a test to see if I can post via WordPress iPhone app. If it works, I can see this as a great observing tool when I am out with my telescope.
How cool is that!
The Advanced Imaging Conference is on again for 2010. The Hyatt Tegency in Santa Clara, CA will host the 2010 Advanced Imaging Conference. For a full conference price of $325.00 per/person, you can join over 250 of the worlds leading astro-imagers to share their techniques and to see exibits from the top companies showing off their newest tools of the trade.
It is sure to be a great show. Some of the top guys will be there. Unfortunatly I learned of the conference too late and I will not be able to atend – even though I live only a few miles from the venue! When one is disabled, care is taken to make sure my money goes to necessities first.
Hopefully the conference will be a yearly event so I can go next year.
I received an e-mail today congratulating me for making the list of top 30 blogs for the visually impaired. The site is a part of a larger medical billing and coding portal and is most likely a ploy for free advertising – but isn’t that the case for all such lists?
I am thankful for the recognition. Even though it seems I have been avoiding posting new topics, maybe this will put a match under my ass so I will be more attentive. I don’t know how many “fans” I have, but I promise I will write more.
I am still a bit nervous of posting my own thoughts on astronomy and discussing the more controversial theories. Maybe it will be fun. Maybe someone will read it and think I may have something worth researching.
Of course, I should also upload some more drum clips as well. That will keep topics in tune with the title of my blog!
With elections upcomming, there is bound to be much material to blog about!
